JUNE'S RESIDENT CAT OF THE MONTH
Purride Month is OZZY MONTH. Ozzy (he/they) is NEKO Bellingham's resident queer icon! After a year in the cat room as our floofy extra-tiny man, we noticed for the first time that Ozzy's shelter paperwork listed him as a “spayed female." This de-tail evaded over a dozen of us who'd seen this paperwork and somehow unanimously assumed he was male! After lots of laughs and one illuminating trip to the groomer later: we realized that Ozzy was meant to be our little man all along. Happy Purride from Ozzy: Our Transmeowsc Boy!

Wanna donate to a local organization, celebrate Purride, AND expurrience the cat room at its comfiest? Then this party is the Cats' Pajamas! Join us on June 18 as the kitties give 100% of their 2024 Purride merch purroceeds to Bellingham Queer Collective to help them open a commewnity center! Plus, if you come in wearing PJs, we'll give you a fur-ee rainbow kitty sticker!
