Come hangout with the cutest kitties in Seattle for our bimonthly embroidery class July 29th!

NEKO Seattle Embroidery

WHEN: Sunday, July 29th
TIME: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
PLACE: NEKO: A Cat Cafe

This 2.5 hour session includes all supplies, a pawesome instructor, cat ears on arrival and best of all, you will be surrounded by the cats of NEKO to keep you company! You will explore the beauty and versatility of hand needlework while learning traditional stitches and new ideas. You can instantly apply these techniques to a sweet cat design to take home with you. No prior embroidery experience required. This class is suitable for those new to hand embroidery and those who want to brush up on their skills. 

NOTE: The first 30 minutes of class will be in the main cafe. The following 2 hours will take place in the kitty room! Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

About the instructor

Kelly Ballard is a Seattle native who has been a lifelong creator and crafter; sewing, knitting, weaving, dyeing fabric and yarn are just a few of her favorite outlets. She’s taught at Stitches on Capitol Hill since 2013 and enjoys helping others learn and loves empowering crafty and creative people to make their own pieces of art! She has two sweet kitties at home, John and Rita, who love to keep her company while she sews and knits.
